Varun Goel and Satish Goyal, both the owners of the company where the fire broke out, have been arrested while Manish Langda, the owner of the building, is absconding. This building did not have NOC from the fire department. About two dozen fire tenders of the fire department were deployed on the spot. During the rescue operation, a woman was also reported dead while evacuating people trapped inside by hydraulic crane. The fire was not completely doused till night and smoke was coming out of it. It is being told that there was no fire exit in such a big building, this negligence became a call for the people trapped in the building.

There has been a big disclosure on Delhi's Mundka fire . The building did not have a fire safety system. Most of the deaths in the fire occurred on the second floor.
